Arpeggio of Blue Steel ch 2

This chapter sets the plot in motion and introduces Takao for the first major battle. By the way, I'm sure that you've all noticed by now, but all of the Fleet of Fog ships are named after actual ships from WWII.

I don't know if I phrased it very well, but "Military Command" implies that the Japanese government had collapsed and was replaced by a government controlled by the military. Other countries are mentioned in volume 2.

  2. "Military Command" sounds like the modern version of "Shogunate".

This is a really great little jewel you've found. I'm amazed that there's three volumes out (and still ongoing) and this is the first I've heard of it. Thanks loads for doing this!

  3. Should that be "anchors aweigh"? Or more properly, "weigh anchor"?

  4. Ah, thanks. I did think that something sounded off, but I couldn't remember what the proper phrase is.
