Arpeggio of Blue Steel ch 1

From what I've observed on komica, there are two kinds of Blue Steel fans:
  1. Has boner for missile/beam spam and ridiculous superweapons (me)
  2. Has boner for Takao (everyone else)
This series is like a fusion of Blue Submarine No. 6 and Last Exile. Global warming drives humans further inland, and this Fleet of Fog appears to fuck humans up with futuristic weapons. One of them, I-401, defects to the human side and joins up with your regular anime/manga crew of characters (well, the captain is awesome) to form Blue Steel. Crazy naval battles ensue. This first battle doesn't really capture just how awesome later battles are.

By the way, this probably isn't something I should say, but I must admit that I'm not too seasoned in nautical terminology. If something is wrong, notify me right away.

    It seems to begin quite abruptly. Why aren't there any covers and such in the release?

    @2:36AM: There are covers. The first 10 images are all color jpegs, so perhaps there was some error in reading them or something

    You mean the gaping plot holes? Yea, the series still has them, even after 21 chapters. They will eventually be filled...I hope.
