Online Manga Downloader 0.1.2

Anyways, I've always wondered what the "nSN" constant in PluginFree meant, and now I know: it's the zoom value. It turns out that I've never tried zooming in on that viewer. The resolution of the images on Comic High and Comic Gekkin actually go up to 2000+ pixels high, which is pretty fucking good (see above image). The downloader now downloads the highest resolution possible, which fixes the bug with Comic Gekkin.

  1. It's me again >_>
I have another problem, but this time it's kinda floating, so I'm not sure is it due to the downloader or it's just my pc.
Sometimes when I'm trying to download something from Comic Clear, it's downloading only the first page and then stopping with "Status: Finished". And I encounter with the same issue in all versions starting from the 0.1.0 (though there was not status bar in the previous versions) under XP SP2 and 7 SP1.

  2. Hmm. What are you trying to download?

  3. Well, any chapter from there. According to the status bar it looks like the downloader can't get XML file (with contents probably) and finish downloading. It usually happens when internet connection idle or when the downloader was just launched, but it's only for Comic Clear stuff.

  4. Hm, when I try to download from Yahoo Comics, it doesn't seem to work. I even used the URL in your example to test, but all it does is create a 90-byte file.

  5. I tried the shodensha site (says it uses ActiBook)

the flash viewer doesn't even load via browser. Any ideas? Broken on their end or bloking by IP location.

  6. @October 6: Hmm, I'll look into it

@October 8: It seems that it uses the DokiDokiVisual kind of Actibook, which means that I'll really have to figure out what makes it different this time. Instead of "books/images/[zoom]/[number].jpg", it's "books/images/[zoom]/g_[number]/x[grid_x]y[grid_y].jpg":

    I'll fix it.

  7. Hm, something seems to be buggy with the Yahoo Comics one. I even tried using the example you gave, but it always results in a 90-byte file and then it says finished. Any idea what's wrong?

  8. Ah, thanks for looking into it, I don't even get the ActiBook reader shown.

Art seems fairly nice so I wanted to check it out. Seems like Feel Young often has some nice artwork:

  9. I tried an ActiBook on tsutomi's page:

    http://tsu-bo-mi.jp/otameshi/wb40742/_SWF_Window.html

    throws up an error.

  10. That's also using the DokiDoki version. I have a solid idea of what separates the two different versions of Actibook now; I'll correct it in the next release.

@October 8 3:14: Sorry for the late response, but can you give me all of the settings?

  11. Here's what the window looks like for when I try Yahoo: http://piclair.com/0u4bb

I just opened it up, selected PCViewer/DOR and pasted the Yahoo Comics example given in your examples.

This is the file it gives after it says "Finished": http://www.mediafire.com/?2e0m6i148t76srv I don't know if it'll be of any use though.

  12. Interesting. It's downloading a file with the contents "trm03.books.ogk.yahoo.co.jp uncompressed/chunked Sat Oct 15 08:41:21 JST 2011 -->" for some reason.

What do you get when you download this file (the encrypted first page) directly?

  13. Nothing happens when I click download. The Status line stays empty.

  14. Oops, I meant to say, "download that URL with your browser"

  15. Oh, my bad. Here's the file I got: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?uydfxnxtz6q0bfw

  16. Hmm, that's the correct file, which means that my downloader is 100% at fault.

I'll make some log feature in the next release so I can debug it more easily; I need to see what it's doing. Sorry for taking so long.

  17. Is there a way to crack Pocopoco comics http://www.poco2.jp/? They have some good comics

  18. Oh shit, Hikari Club. I heard about it a long time ago, but I never found out where it was hosted.

Yea, it's really simple. I'll include it into the next release.

  19. To the guy having problems with Yahoo Comic: use 0.1.3 and give me the log.
