July 2011 Schedule

Since I won't have a scanner until the end of July, I can't scan anything. That includes:

• Young Ace 2011-08 (containing 7o3x chapter 9)
  
• good! Afternoon #17 (containing Nanika chapter 9 and 10)
• Sho4 2011-08 and 2011-09 (containing Pokemon Special BW 9 and 10)

I already have Arpeggio of Blue Steel volume 3 and Ryuushika Ryuushika volume 2 scanned, so those will be released. Another group will give me 7o3x chapter 9 raws, so that's covered as well, though the entire magazine will have to wait.

A few days ago, I got in touch with Chinese group "幻兽之骑士团", which translates Arpeggio, Nanika, and other stuff (like Shingeki no Kyojin). I actually picked up Arpeggio because I read their scans; had they not picked it up I certainly wouldn't have known about this manga. They started scanning issues of YKO for Arpeggio, so I got in touch with them. It turns out that they were about to contact me for Nanika, which they picked up because they saw my scans. As a result, we're trading raws. If the schedule goes according to plan, I'll be caught up to Japan by the end of July.

In short, the schedule until the end of July looks like this:

I would be embarrassed if I broke my 3-day rule on a project in which I'm putting all of my effort. I really underestimated this manga.

When I think of Homura, I always think about those Grow flash RPG games. She has to do everything in the right order. If I was in her position, I would remember to make Kyouko adopt that green-haired loli before Mami finds out about the truth and goes crazy.

Also, the party is understaffed. There's only two people working on it right now (me and another anon), which is just two less than the last volume, but those two were good editors. Remember when I said that this manga doesn't have a lot of "pictext"? Yeah, about that... I'm not good at redrawing, so if you have some spare time, there's 15 pages to redraw in chapters 5 and 6 (click "View all versions" in the image page to find another raw). I appreciate any help.

Kadokawa decided to release volume 2 in August (one month ahead of the cycle), because one Pokemon Special volume, one Noririn volume, two Sho4 issues, two YA issues and one good Afternoon issue (update: and 3-4 Mudazumo chapters now) aren't enough for me during that month. But seriously, I thought that Kadokawa would wait for volume 3 to do something like this. I guess that they're really trying to push this series, because it does have a lot of potential to be popular.

This batch replaces some old pages, adds the new pages from the volume, and even adds a page from chapter 1 that I somehow missed the first time around. There are also typo and translation fixes.
