This is probably the only series I done that doesn't have a good related work to keep on feeding the addiction-

-until Maigo picked up Tasogare. It's Hanako with your tradition ghosts. Just replace Hanako with Yuuko and Asou with Teiichi, and you're halfway there.

From the current chapters released (14 in Japanese/Chinese), the cases are dragged on longer, but at least Maybe is a much better artist than Esuno. Seriously, Esuno has drawn 2500+ pages for 6 years, and he still uses the same faces.

Anyways, from Maigo's current pace, it seems that they can't wait to drop Ga-Rei, er, it seems that they can't wait to translate more chapters, so I recommend Tasogare as a replacement for Hanako.

In other news, PokeSpe v34 c375 will definitely be released tomorrow. I'll sacrifice my one-week lead on FTH, and do KO 42 script next week.

Mudazumo OVA 2v2, 3v2; Cyber Blue suspension

So I recently started learning some encoding for a school video project. I decided that I should test what I've learned and re-release the OVA softsubs with the slightly better DivX raw. The result isn't too bad; I got rid of the interlacing issues and some of the macroblocking, but the color still looks a bit funky during some scenes. This is a WIP, so I wouldn't recommend uploading it elsewhere. I promise that I will eventually get the DVD myself.

Meanwhile, I actually read ahead for a bit, and found that the next several chapters of Cyber Blue end at cliffhangers. Thus, for an estimated 2 and a half weeks, until I finish Hanako vol 4 and Pokemon Special vol 34, Cyber Blue vol 2 is suspended. On the bright side, I can translate Cyber Blue daily after I'm done with PokeSpe.

The next few days should be:

Sunday - KO c42 script
Monday - PokeSpe v34 start

In other news, this is the second chapter I produced in CS5, the first being Cyber Blue 11. Adobe is going to put typesetters out of work someday, seriously, with a few minor but important typesetting tweaks, like automatically hyphenating words. Content-aware fill isn't a magic bullet, though, but that's probably because I'm not used to it.
