Before anyone gets hurt, I'd just like to say that I'm dropping this as soon as the anime starts airing as well.This chapter should be pretty self-explanatory if you've watched the original. One thing that I didn't mention was that most of the characters have a light Okinawan accent, including Eu-er, Ao's mom for some reason. Someone on /a/ suggested that I should replace it with a Jamaican accent, which is a brilliant idea, but I eventually concluded that the original accent here was too light for me to apply something like an Jamaican accent successfully. If I ever translate an Okinawan with a heavy accent, then I'll know what to do.

ReplyDeletemaybe they left their kid because maybe Renton died :(, and since Eureka was a coralian, maybe she was going to disapear because, she didnt have super strong bond to the earth as she did with renton, but that doesnt make sense, since she had a kid with renton. but gud idea right.

After reading the first chapter, I'm guessing Ao's parents are Renton & Eureka, so I doubt Renton's dead, and doubt Eureka disappeared. Good guess though.
