All Good Things Come to an End

The last month has shown me that I don't even have the spare time to sustain Arpeggio and 7o3x. Therefore I'm dropping them in hopes of opening the path for other groups eager to jump on them. I know that at least the /ak/ group might be interested in Arpeggio, so bother them about it.

I'd like to thank everyone for their support. I'm feeling much better now. To everyone else who suffers from depression: stay strong.

I'm most baffled by the change in Iona's character design for the anime.Is it really just a shallow attempt at a cash grab at the expense of her character? Is it because they may be changing her voice actor (if not the entire cast)?

I'm Not Sure What I Should Title This

All good things come to an end. I knew this, so I wanted my adventure in scanlation to come to a graceful end by slowly parting with every series I translate. However, other aspects of my life have accelerated at a faster pace than I imagined, so I simply can't translate at the same pace, or even half or one-fourth the speed.


When I realized this months ago, I thought that I could just continue at this slow pace, if everyone would let me. However, I started to notice that the fact that I'm behind on translations makes me anxious (I should add that no commenter is at fault here; it's all stress that I give myself). Moreover, I've suffered from several bouts of depression during the last two months from my stressful (but fun) new life. I've been advised to remove sources of stress and anxiety, so here we are.

There's no point to pretending that I can still scanlate 6 series, so I'm dropping:

• Ryuushika Ryuushika - I love ABe's work, but I don't enjoy scanlating this any more.
• Boku Dake ga Inai Machi - I would love to continue this, but there's simply too much dialog.
• Pokemon Special (including BW) - This would've hurt me the most if there was no successor to me, but I think Golden Pigeot did a good job. If you're Golden Pigeot, I'd love for you to contact me. I can teach you many things.

Arpeggio of Blue Steel and 7o3x will remain. I still haven't talked to Happy Scans about Master Keaton Remaster (and my raws for chapter 5 still haven't come in).

So yeah. After watching last night's episode, I was reluctant to break any vows, but I have to get this off my chest, even if I get damned for this.

Chapter 19 and 20 have been really disappointing. The former was a tirade about littering, and the latter was Kitoh preaching about murder through Issha. It's clear that the plot has no direction at all. I have great respect for Kitoh Mohiro, but he's making it hard for me to muster enough motivation for this series. I'm sorry for those who have been waiting for chapter 19.

As far as all of the other series are concerned, they're being delayed because I'm working on ironing out the last bugs of the Danganronpa translation patch. I'm also prioritizing magazine chapters released before March 1 over Pokemon Special 43 because I've been falling behind on those.

This was one of my first series, so this pains me more than anyone, but I'm just not that interested in the new arc. I will still post the raws for the next volume.
